Blanc de Blanc, POE
2014 POE Manchester Ridge Blanc de Blanc
The wine offers up a complex and very refined bouquet of pear, apple, fresh almond, brioche, a nice touch of soil and a top note of white flowers. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and tightly-knit, with a good core, fine mineral drive, pinpoint bubbles and impressive length and grip on the complex finish. This is drinking nicely now, but will blossom further with some time in the cellar and should age very nicely indeed.
