Wine Down is a bar in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood that serves awesome, local wine and beer. We’re looking for fun, proactive people with great judgment to join our small team, which prides itself on creating an environment people love—both for our guests and each other.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

All applicants must possess the following qualities:

• Strong Work Ethic – You take pride in doing things as well as they can be done.
• ​Empathy and Self-Awareness – You care about how others feel and how your actions impact them.
• Positive Energy – You naturally radiate optimism, warmth, friendliness, and fun.
• ​Curiosity – You have a genuine interest in learning about wine, beer, and people.
• Integrity – You use superb judgment and hold yourself accountable for doing the right thing.

Other expectations of all Wine Down team members include:

• Ability to provide AWESOME hospitality, whether it’s a quiet night or a packed event
• Available for 2-3 shifts per week, Monday - Friday (typical hours 3-10 PM).
  
• Comfortable both working with a team and working / closing solo
  
• Able to lift 10-20 lbs or more throughout your shift
  
• Must be 21+ years of age

As part of a small team, you'll be expected to pitch in on everything from describing the menu to pouring drinks and prepping food to busing tables and maintaining a clean bar at all times.
